I need to attach a connector to coax cable, what size die is required and where can I purchase a crimp tool to attach the connector?
Solution

When attaching a connector to coaxial cable, the correct size crimp tool is required. The crimp tool uses a die. The die size required is based upon the cable size. It is important that the correct size die is used to ensure a proper connector attachment. An improper connector attachment will result in signal loss or no signal to pass through the connector.

A nice selection of crimp tools which include the dies is available at www.l-com.com. If you already own a crimp tool, dies can be purchased separately through L-com. Select the Digital Antenna cable you are using, and then use the appropriate crimp tool and die listed.
